UX Role: End to End Lead Visual Designer

The absence capture flow was my first task given upon arriving at Robert Half. The task was to build into the legacy experience the ability for Candidate users to request time off. The challenge of this project was that not all users are structured on the same type of time captured consideration. Some workers are Day workers and some are shift workers that work in odd and even time blocks throughout both AM and PM time slots.
Experiences for candidates and clients both were needed for this flow. A separate UI for Clients was designed to manage the incoming requests and track their history. This adjusted UI additionally needed to support the different type of candidate workers.
Additionally, the user must be able to capture the reason why they requesting off within a preset of provided options, then the request must be submitted and support the various states for pending, canceled and rejected. An interactive calendar was ultimately added to this experience to help users more easily visually manage their open requests as they relate to date and status's.
This project went live in 2023 and has been a very successful addition to the companies client management services
Note: This flow consists of over 80 page templates to capture all the necessary states of interaction for each core template. The below artboards will represent the default state only for the core page templates.
